Space Monkey Al - Patch Together Update

So the prototype is off to PT, should be getting there any day now and they will do their thing with making the magic happen....pretty stoked.

What I've been up to...

Although this isnt toy or art related, I figured I'd update with what's been going on. Between the day job driving me up the wall, and life generally getting in the way of having time to do the things I want to do, I picked up this sweet thing:


It's a 1973 Honda CB350, and it is fun.

I have some cool toy projects in the works:

- Customs for two shows later in the summer - both pieces will be themed to each other, should be cool if I can pull them off.

- Space Monkey Al...still chuggin' along, go preorder one already, jeez!

- Plus a super-secret project that can't quite be revealed yet.

Toy2R Sticker Qee

Toy2R recently presented the STICKER QEE project. Created to display the innovation and support of the art of designer toys, Toy2R put together this 36" QEE BEAR during the award ceremony at the 2008 Hong Kong Award for Industries, one of the most influential commercial organizations in Asia. Toy2R was honored to receive the recognition as the Grand Winner in the category of Innovation and Creativity.

This custom 36" QEE bear was created during the award ceremony, so Toy2R had to develop a way to quickly customize the figure in a short period of time. With the support of 66 artists worldwide - Toy2R secured art from contributing artists and created stickers to represent each one. The final result is a fine example of the collaborative efforts on a D.I.Y. project to bring worldwide attention to the genre.

I was sincerely honored to be a part of this project, and want to thank Toy2R for their support!
